i discovered one of my plants turned hermi so i chopped it down but now i really dont know whats the next step...do i just hang it up to dry in the dark?

ah man im not too concerned about it... i got more in the closet doin their lady thing, more room for them. but i was originally just pinching off the balls but i didnt want to pollenate my others. not a big deal its a first time grow op kind of just figuring everything out. i would have put it by itself but it was in the same bucket as another. i think about 31 days or something

Im not sure if all your seeds came from the same batch but if so theres a good chance you will get more hermies so make sure you got a good supply of plants on hand to be able to pull some fems out.as for drying yes just hang it upside down to dry if theres any buds on it ohterwise maybe you could make some hash but not much.

thanks for the advise. nah not all my seeds came from the same batch, but who knows maybe more hermies, but im hoping not. im keeping a close eye on them but the others look like legit females but well see. i do have some nice looking baby buds on that hermie... and im definately making some cannabutter for some brownies r something for 420!!

how hard is hash to make?

it is pretty simple belive it or not.easiest way is like this.

materials:
1.plastic or metal reusable coffee filter and you also need a few paper ones.

2.ice cubes,or shaved ice or some kind of ice.

3.depending how much buds and trim you have you will need something to mix like a wooden spoon or if you can a power drill with a new paint mixer at the end to stir also mud mixers work good too.oyhea and dont forget blenders but they will make your end product not as pure.


4. a jar,a bowl or bucket to mix in.

first let your trim/buds dry until they are were you can tear them and they wont crumble but also you dont want it too wet. once your leafs tear and dont crumble down then your ready to go.toss the trim/buds into the freezer for like 20 minutes or so to freeze the trichomes and make them more brittle.now combine your bud/trim with equal parts of ice and water.
the idea is to sort of make a ice bath.now blend until you cant blend anymore the longer the better depending how your mixing.now that you have mixed your batch up now you need to strain it through the reusable metal or plastic coffee filter to remove as much green matter as possible from the mix.now you should be left with cold ass water and what appears to be white or amber colored crystals that look like salt inside of the jar.the more of this the happier you are gonna be.now what you need to do is put the jar into the fridge and let it sit for about 30 minutes or so or until all the crystals have sunk to the bottom of the jar.now carefully strain out as much water as you can and then pour your mixture through the paper coffee filter dump the water and then let the coffee filter and resin dry in a dark well ventilated area.it should be dry by morning and then you can smoke,press,cook, or w/e you want with it and it will be pretty pure for the method used.

sounds like something i could handle. thanks for the tip...ill definately give it a shot...you think i should keep the trim and add it too all the other trim coming in a month or so? or just go for it with the one?

depends if you want more hash IF you got buds to get you by then yea wait till you have the fattest batch of bud and trim you can get then make it into hash. From what ive been told and by experience you can get 10'gs of hash from 100g's of trim and probably 20g's from actual matured bud. but i smoke the bud and make my trim into hash..double whammy all in one
