Sannies Madshack and white pistils!
Hope Im posting in the right forum if not sorry!!! Anyway Ive got a Sannies Madshack thats 9 weeks today. Did a trich check this morning and saw a few ambers but mostly cloudy and still a few clear. But the pistils still remain white mostly!This strain is a cross of Jack Herer x Shiva crossed wth Herijuana x White Widow! It is absolutely dripping in resin and giving off a nice pungent odor. According to those who have tried her she is very very potent if done right. I have never grown a plant in my 10 grows that had mostly white pistils this late in the grow. My goal is to get her about 25% amber before harvest. I figure Ive got another 2 weeks at least before harvest. She is grown under a 250 hps in 3 gallon pot soiless mix with Fox Farm nutrient trio. Any ideas as to what the issue is?

Some strains are like that. I have a few kolossus also from sannie that will be 9 weeks on tuesday and almost all about 80% of pistils are white yet trichs are mostly cloudy some clear and no amber. Will give her another week or two.
Patience, Im sure its agonizing but with all the white pistols you know that you are still going to pack on fatter buds and more weight. Each pistol has a calyx, that will swell and the pistol will recede in when fully ripe. (im sure you already know this) I can smell it from here! Good job with her.

I've grown a few of these. Let her go a bit longer. 2 weeks is a good call.

pistils don't matter. lol. trichomes are the "thc factories" when they're milky that is optimum. when they turn orange they are dead. so the more orange the worst your smoke is gonna be.
My MadShack was the same way. It doesn't matter how long you let it go either.
I've grown a few strains crossed with WW before and have noticed that no matter how long they flower for, white pistils just will not stop flying out. Most recent was a Chrystal from Nirvana (WW x NL) that was going on 12 weeks with no end in sight. Against my better judgement I left it up to just the trich colors. Awesome smoke either way though.
