When to harvest?? Opinions needed!
Hi, im growing a plant that i was given already in flower. I dont know how old the plant is, how long its been in flower or how long the flower period should be. All i know is the plant is a cheese strain female, smells lovley! and looks lovley . ive had her under 400w hps light 12/12 for 4 weeks now. She has quite a few pistils turning red/brown and she is covered in lots of THC. Just looking for some advice on when she needs the chop? or how long abouts in your opinion she has left? . im looking for a strong stoned feeling with a sweet taste .

The way the hairs look, a lot of them are still sticking out pretty straight, which tells me the plant is still immature. Also, flowering takes a lot longer then 4 weeks.
Without a scope to look at trichs, or at least closer pictures to get really good look at buds, that's what I got to say.

By the way your hairs look I'd say you at least have another month. Buut I suggest investing in a 420 scope so you know exactly when your trichs are prime and ready for the cut
I too reckon about another 4 weeks. You still got loads of white pistils and buds are quite smally.

The sequence is cloudy, then amber. All trichs will turn cloudy, sometimes early, it's when they start going amber/brown and all over everywhere. Some people use a ratio, but really it's all about how long you can hang on lol You can easily give your flowering time another 2 weeks over stated figures and shit will be mucho better, but cutting early can only bring disappointment, so beware.
At least ALL cloudy trichomes before harvesting, the more amber ones the better

Agree 4 weeks... you also may want to blast it with nutes maybe 2-3 more times then start flushing.
I throw my 2 cents in and agree with the fellow smokers, youve got at least 4 weeks left, and you wanna get a 10x microscope and look at the trichomes on the plan, wait until most of them are "cloudy" at the tips. But youve got at least 4 weeks before u pull her panties off

cheese strains go like 70-80 days, yours looks around 45-55 (hit or miss) , so yea id say 3-4 weeks, the hairs on buds should turn mostly amber and a few white, when you got them im assuming they where barely starting to nug up ,they just had a bunch of pistols forming the bud? Based on the pics and not personally being there i say youd be good to chop in about 25 days, just post a pic then n ill let you know.
