you gotta hang em somewhere dark with some air movement and not to humid or they will get mold. then when they feel about dry jar them up and cure them. to cure put em in jar wait over night or maybe not even that long and keep burping jar until its nice and dry.

ok the last buds i got from her was 2 days ago i pulled them out and felt them the outside feels dry but its definitely wet im gonna try to describe this smell the best i can it doesnt smell like weed all that much. it smells like a cross between bay leaves and oregano with almost a pine kind of smell to it no skunk smell whatsoever its really hard to describe what it smells like so i grabbed some spices and tried to get something to compare it to could this be the type of strain, fertilizer or the way im taking care of it ? The buds on the plant have a faint smell of what I smell in the buds but they definitely smell a little skunkier but I know for sure it doesn't smell like anything I have ever smoked or smelled before

pulled a bud off a girl a few days ago, got pretty dry but lacking in flavor. Prolly just needs to cure, all the green material tastes like shit and needs to break down.

it will taste or smell good without being cured. it will taste/smell like grass or hay

It tastes that way for a couple reasons: The buds aren't ready yet and you need to give the buds a proper drying and curing for the proper flavours to come out. Even the best drying and curing won't make buds that are that premature taste good though... There are some good sticky's on drying and curing at the top of this section. Good Luck!

oh yea if your shit is premature it just wont taste good you gotta let it finish or its not even worth growing it

Agreed on the premature dry and cure. Even the best genetics, if harvested to early, will suck no matter how you dry/cure it. Need to have time for flavors and smell (turpines?) to come about. Not to mention potency.

ok shew I was getting a little worried, glad that it's because its premature. I read the sticky on harvesting and curing and plan to follow those directions to a T shouldn't have but a few more weeks till harvest will post pics I'm excited oh yeah I ordered the 45 x led microscope for trichs and does anyone want to recommend a good place to get seeds from and maybe an easy strain for a scrog grow this will be my next project

after all the work I have put into her. also I have a few I can take pics of (small buds) if that will help if someone can give me a tried and true method of drying/curing for delicious buds I will be most indebted to you. On a final note I still have like 3 weeks to go before harvest and those buds were the best I have smoked as far as thc strength Im pretty sure shes mostly sativa i giggled and cleaned my house and no I haven't smoked any really good weed in my 12 years of living where I do I have never once smoked any bud that didn't have seeds in it. It's all trash weed here
