bump bump bump, any experiance
First time harvest this strain, been curing since June 2nd in Jars. Still not getting any Dank smell, first it was a very heavy hay smell and now a very light one. Does anyone know does this stuff ever develop a dank smell or am I waiting for something that just aint going to happen? Thanks

How long did you dry for? What were the temp and humidity? How often were you burping your jars? You should be getting some kind of dank smell by now...

My opinion is that if it still smells like hay after this long that is what you're stuck with. Sorry.![]()
In my limited experience if it smells like hay it was likely harvested early, or dried much too quickly. But if its a good strain harvested on time it will smell good even if sun dried...
I think your hay smell might stick. I harvested mine around that time too but it got better after a while. Also the bud itself may smell dank when you break it up or grind it. That's what happened to mine and turned out all citrusy.
Get a hygrometer that will fit into the jars you are using. My best bet would be that they are still to wet. You probably didnt let them dry out long enough before you jarred them. If your RH inside the jar is 70%+ you need to let them dry some more before jaring. I have jarred mine early to keep them from drying out to fast when I had to go out of town. When I returned home they were still 70%+ I pulled them out and let them dry some more then rejarred them. They only problem with this is you will have to check your buds really good for mold good luck!!
I absolutely agree with this statement.
