I just read in one of these threads that once your buds smell like grass or hay, there is no turning back? The dankness wont return it will smell like hay even after being cured?

try grinding it up, you will smell your herb smell again

once the humidity in the jar is around 55% the bud should smell alright

From my experience weed chopped too early has that hay smell regardless of what ever. Fuck who ever says different.

I've noticed that too. Could also be the strain. Some strains just don't have a strong odor. I've smoked some pretty potent bud that didn't really have much of a smell. I've also smoked stuff that you could smell through someones pocket double bagged that was mediocre. Drying too quickly can also give it that hay smell.

Chop and dry... Do not trim first. Slow it down to at least seven days before jar. After I started to do that I have dank smell all the way, but my rh is low.
