My own personal experience with blue dream says that a rough area of around 11 or 12 weeks is the best harvest time, usually I cut mine around 11 and a half weeks. Personally I'd let them amber to about 20 to 25% then chop em. As a sativa dominant hybrid theres no reason you can't have some amber.

Yeah there's 2 types of blue dream witch are probably 95% the same. A breeder shortend the flowering time and made his own blue dream witch is going around a lot faster and easier to find than the real original blue dream(what I've read on google) I had a experienced grower come over tonight and ended up pullin her down he said the tric's were perfect. I'll post a pic Ofthe final weight

I like to base when to harvest by the overall look of the plant, not just the trichs.
When the orange/brown/amber hairs are sucking back into the bud and the leaves
are yellowing, you know that the plant is reaching the end of it's life cycle. This is
when I harvest.

I am not saying you shouldn't base the harvest on trichs but, in my eye, if the plant
hasn't fully developed than you might be loosing that extra THC or other cannabinoid
development.

Anyways, like monkeybones said it's based on preference and you could chop now if you
wanted. Hope this helps.
