As long as your jars are airtight the fridge is a great way to store your herb.

buds keep longest when fully cured in jars and then tossed into deep freeze
I keep mine in fridge, they will last maybe 10 years that way. The colder they get the longer they will last, but frozen they have to stay frozen or there is some damage from thawing. If you have a frost free freezer they will thaw out I think.
If you are gonna smoke them within 2 years I do not see any benefit to fridge over cool natural storage.
yep. there has been 2000 year old bud dug out of the ground as a grave good which was smokable
i'm sure it wouldn't taste as good as some stuff though
more like carcass
i personally don't freeze my bud
it would technically keep longest that way though
but i bet mason jar + fridge would = almost indefinite storage time
i used to freeze my buds a long time ago but it will dry out. its called freeze dried.
the buds will stay fresher in air tight jars in a dark cool place.
the fridge may be a good idea but i dont see the need.
