Harvesting Amnesia Haze - When?

Its all part of the hype mate, go take some mushrooms if you wanna trip, but if you want a heady high then harvest just as a few of the trichs have turned amber. good luck!

lol I see your point but it's not that simple... I cultivate my shrooms also but last year I want to Amsterdam and smoked Amnesia Haze for the first time and for the first time, I understood what they mean by "psychadelic effect", when it comes to describing the high... I mean, at times, it was similar to truffles or even shrooms. I can guarantee you that at some periods it was stronger than some shroom trips I had.
Anyway, you answered my question: when the bastards start going amber, scissors!

If you want that head high go cloudy, but if you want it couch lock or "psychedelic" as you describe go amber. It's just personal preference. But remember when 75% trichs are amber you've lost at least 5% because of withering.

By psichadelic I mean the head high, with time-lapses (hence the name Amnesia), etc. Ultimately, it will be a secondary couch lock, not that you feel that narcotic but simply because your head will be in such a rush that you won't be able to do much. I'm sorry if I'm not explaining myself properly but it is how I felt it. My girlfriend and a friend of mine waited for almost 2h30min to go to the bathroom as they didn't feel they would be capable of getting up, passing by a few guys who were standing in between and coming back.
Guess I should go for a 50/50, maybe a little more cloudy than amber, right?

Damn, i used to smoke Amnezia Haze in a coffee shop and it was a straight killer, i never smoked a haze like that at some point it would almost hurt my lungs cause of the massive tingling, very very good weed and i indeed KNOW weed can get psychedelic, not like salvia but ya know, trippy. But the coffee shop closed cause they found guns or something like that. so i started growing my own, my last harvest i starved my plant due to a miscalculation in flushing ( yeah im a newb). the thing is it doesnt taste or smell like haze, its RQS and my new plant (a clone from the one i already harvested) doesnt smell like haze either. this plant isnt starving and im going to start flushing it very soon, the thing is so i hope its gonna change like when White Widow covers up in frost the last week.
Anyway did your plant, or anyone else's for that matter smell like haze?
