Water Cure question
Hi, I have two plants, I chopped the first one early and the other is still growing. From the looks of the second plant I may have chopped the first one several weeks early. I finally got a jewelers loupe.
I water cured one plant following the instructions found here. I got it all dried out and everything looked fine. My first question is this, what does White Widow taste like, if it can be easily described? I ask what WW tastes like because I have never had it before, but after the seven days and the drying time, the herb has to me what I would call a very strong chlorophyll taste. Other than that the herb burns smooth and little to no smell, but that one little taste it has is not a very good taste. I used a 48oz(1419ml) kitchen container to soak about an 1oz in.

The chlorophyll is because you didnt cure long enough and you will not taste the normal flavor of the bud by using the water cure method. Water curing removes the normal flavor
Everything I say on this website is an experiment. I do not smoke or grow or even deal with marijuana in any way and I never will unless it is made legal.

if you ask me, which no one has, ha, i'd say water cureing is the stupidest fuckin thing i've ever seen, don't treat your babies like that! thats bad ju-ju my friend. and i've never read it before intill now, but i knew that would kill the taste of your buds. patience is next to godliness.

Yeah water cure is for people who dont appreciate the time and realness of good buds. You loose the taste smell and some potentcy which every reason you grow your own. It makes the smoke smoother but tasteless. You probably didnt water cure long enough and did you chaange the water a few times during or just let it sit reabsorbibg all the poluttants??

As either some of you did not read my post, I followed the instructions that are here on the site, which says soak for 7 days and change the water on a daily basis. I did.
And for those that are too close minded to try different things, dont comment on my thread, start your own.
For being plucked early, and even though it has a taste I dont like, but hell I dont like the taste of any of it, which is why I opted to water cure. I was satisfied with the buzz. Its just for personal so I really dont care what the damn bud looks like, I am smoking it, not entering it into a beauty pagent.
Which, back to my original post, does anyone have any ideas, that actually has done it and can comment and not someone who just thinks it sounds like a stupid idea?

Fuck those retards.. I always water cure enough to last me until the rest are ready, it usually ends up being the smallest of my eight finished plants that I water cure. Harvesting a plant early will give you that chlorophyll flavor, that may be why you are tasting it. I always water cure by leaving a plant submerged completely under water for 7 days in the dark, changing the water daily. If that is what you did then you are doing it correctly.
For the guy saying it ruins potency, your actually wrong. By weight the thc content is actually higher.

Cool, I did pull the plant earlier than I thought I did so thats probably the reason. How big should the soaking container be, I was kinda thinking that I may not have had enough water for it to be effective.
