just over 5 weeks.

most likey youll be able to. most strains take roughly 8 wks. so if you let it go untill like the 20th that would be close to 9 wks.

I would just be checking the trichs tho. when its done its done

what strain is it? it could take 13 weeks...or 7 lol but looking at it it would definatly be harvested before Christmas but you still prolly won'tbe able to smoke it before christmass... cause you have to cure it for it to be good, which takes time and by the looks of it thats is a yummy strain so you will want to cure it so you get the best weed possible.

Thanks FACULT, These are some bagseeds out of some chronic. I am curious because I wanted to test the crop for new year's. I'm letting these babies go as long as possible and if their not ready, their not coming down. Just wishful thinking.

im in the same situation. i am in my 8th week (51 days now) and since im only growing 2 plants under just a single 70 watt hps, the buds and yield are tiny. I have been waiting for them to take off,..but the swell already occurred.. i would say 60-70% of my hairs are red now,..trichs milky still...i might have an ounce off the 2 plants (kush,..is it normal for this strain to give so little,..or is it the light)...but man, when should i cut them. they are about 2 feet tall.top colas are only about the length of a lighter, but dense.

70 watt hps for 2 lights.... thats harsh man. You should atleast have gone to walmart or something and picked up some cheap CFL's to hang around, would have given you a much bigger yeild. It was deffently the light that effected the yeild, not the strain.

Either way you still have some fresh homegrown kush = ), nexttime though, go to walmart and pick up some Compact Flourescents Lights, they are very cheap, and dont use much energy at all.

That is a pretty nice looking bagseed plant fifty, I think it will be done before christmas for sure, but im glad that you are willing to wait longer if you have to. Becuase cutting early is the worst thing you could do.

Thanks jack. I cut my first outdoor crop like 3 weeks two early not knowing any better. I was also judging by the hairs being 80% brown, but now I know to look at the trich's.
