When Should i Cut the plant? Pics included

Basically this is my first plant, its on its 19th week since planting. its got alot of orange hairs but there arnt alot of buds on the plant cuz it went through some trouble in its early phases i i kind of neglected it lol. can someone tell me when to harvest it please.cheers. o ye do the buds look high?

Not too much longer. What kind of lights are you using? And if you are using fertilizer its time to stop. That way your plant will use up all the chemicles in it right now so the smoke will be much smoother without a fertilizer taste in it. If you are using a hps light 12/12 then i would chop that bitch down in a week or two.

Looks real nice. Spend $10 on a radio shack scope and cut some small pieces off, lay it on a piece of white paper on a table and keep an eye on the trichs. If you have the time and no need to cut it down it's worth it. TBoy is right if you are using chemical nutes but if you are using organics you could probably keep going. But at least keep watering it a little every few days so the buds feed off what nutes are in the soil and fatten up as much as possible.

im using a halogen lamp, ye its 12/12 so u say wait a week. i stopped using ferts abbout a week ago

good. You are on the right track. But like he said, if you have time then take it, dont be too hasty. But if it was me i would wait atleast one more week. When ever you think the buds are at their prime. But this is very good if it is your first plant. Give yourself a pat on the back. But the most important part is still here to come.

cheers b. i was thinking about jus cutting off one bud then waiting a week or two for the rest, becuz the one at the top of the plant is a hell of alot bigger than the all the others.
