well,my roadunners been drying for a week now,hung for 3 days,been in box for 4

shes smokable,gets me a little bit high,but smells slightly fresh(i get a wiff of really really nice smell once in a while)

im going to but a good bit in a jar soon,about half of it because ive got nothing else to smoke,but it definately gets better by the day

i was talking to my mate,and he said 'the dutch' say cure it for a year,i was like are you serious,any truth to this

whats the longest cure anyones ever done,im definately stashing an ounce or 2 away to be cured for a year,never to see the light of day for an entire 365 days,i bet itll be banging

and also,is there any specific method to get nice soft fluffy but dry buds?if you know what i mean,my roadunner seems slightly crispy but very very sticky(not wet)

From what I have read, buds will supposedly keep in the freezer for years. in my experience the best buds cure for six to eight weeks in glass in a dark place. Thc begins to degrade roughly after four months. Also, don't leave them closed up the whole time either, you gotta' burp 'em daily and check for moisture levels.

I think you are correct once a certain level of dryness has been reached they can be stored, also the length of time between burping the jars increases as they get close to this level

good good,because wow,my roadrunners smokable,even grinds up not too bad,looks the tits,but,barely any smell and no taste at all,and the highs not great,im really understanding the importance of a good cure,2-3 months is the longest i could probably wait,need to do a killer harvest and super cure it all

now seriously,if they are dried then stored in glass air tight jars,how long does it take for the thc to degrade,someone said after 4 months,but then people say 1 year cured bud is the bomb,but,if thc starts to degrade after 4 months......im researching,but not found a definate answer

i have not been able to get a definite answer but know that once you get a certain level of dryness where you know it will not mold if you go a week or two without openning. I have not been curing long enough to tell from experience as I am new grower myself and most of what I know is from reading, reading and reading. There are some things that all agree on and a lot of things that are opinion. Some say that after 6 mos it starts degrading and others say 4 while you will read that you can store if kept air tight for years. So figure out what you can in between the experienced growers with traditional ways and the youngsters with the new techniques. The best is to learn from your own experiences which is what we are all still doing I am sure. I am smoking some bag seed now that was dried and has been curing for a couple of weeks and can indeed tell the difference because the weed isn't that great to begin with but its been good enough to keep me from buying. I should have some White Widow ready by new years and will definitely be curing. I have already purchased two cases of mason jars as I have 4 different strains going right now and want to keep them all separated. Happy Thnksgiving

yeh definately,just experience i guess bro,a few months cure sounds good to me tho,gotta be like a fine wine,gets better with age???

and things only break down because of air,so,if it was airtight,i think you could store it for years,but,hey,im gonna do it and find out!!!!!

Yeh some of the dutch guys i know cure there personal for around 3-4 months burping constantly almost daily no set schedule u just learn from the feel and taste how u want em.
