Wink good CHEAP glass jars for curing?

just about to start drying and curing for the first time so i wanted to have a set of about 10 glass air tight jars for curing on hand...

but as im looking around online for ordering im noticing that they are quite expensiveee.

any advice as to some great air tight glass jars that are CHEAPER? where do you guys get your jars?

You can get a set of 12 quart size canning jars at Wal-Mart, for around $12. Or, you can clean out your own jars - like jelly jars, spagetti sauce jars, pickle jars, etc. Just be sure they are really clean, food/smell all gone.

i agree with doeyed you can them real cheap at wallyworld. maybe even cheaper then what she said...
