Hey whats up RIU...I am on day 56 flower and the top branches are ready but the lower ones the inner buds still can go a week or so ...can i chop the plant at the top and let the rest go longer ...????

Cutting the main cola would be just like topping a plant, they don't die after you top them do they?

A lot of people do progressive (2stage) harvests with no problem, I've never done it so I can't give much advice on it.

Wow.... Just wow. Some of the things said on here just amaze me. Uncle Ben has said this numerous times in his posts that he harvests the Main colas and puts the plant back under the light to bulk up the rest of the plant.

Whoever said your plant dies when you harvest just the main cola is full of shiznititiness forever. I do it all the time.
80 percent or so of the plants i cut are progressive. Mainly the indicas are the ones we may cut all at onceeeee

[yes you can top your plant if it is ready- will not hurt your plant- and you will get better bud on bottom
