These were harder to find than I thought. I found two places that look good. Still haven't ordered from either. Just not sure how air tight they are. If anyone know if these are air tight "enough" speak up. If you know of other sources, let me know!

those will be as airtight as a pickle jar. should be fine, but dont forget to order the lids.

Why not just use 1/2 gal mason jars that are available anywhere?

seems like once the seal is cracked on jars that come from the market (pickle, sauce, jelly jars etc) that they are never air tight again IMO. I stick with mason jars. (the big ones with the wide mouth)
