Day 56 of flower.... supposedly white widow / blueberry (bag seed)
pistils are about 75% orange, trich's are about 60% cloudy.... do i start flushing now? should i already be flushing? what's a good benchmark to determine the proper time to flush?
also... should i be counting flowering days by the time they go into 12/12, or when they first show flowers?
EDIT: forgot to mention this is a hydro grow (ebb & flow)

i would say with them being about 60% cloudy, you could maybe wait another week or so before flushing at the most..
i had also asked the same ??'s about when to start counting the flowering period as the way i looked at it if someone vegged for say 8 weeks and another for 2 weeks, wouldn't the 8 week plant flower faster? what i got out of all of the replies to my thread was that you count from the day that you flipped the lights, but just use the recomended flowering period from the breeder as a recomendation.. it sounds to me like you are doing everything right... forget about what the breeder says about the flowering period and instead let the plant tell you when she is ready.. look at the tric's and their color and let that be more of a guide than say 56 days or whatever the breeder says... and remember that more cloudy trics will give you a more up type of high and the more that are amber in color the more of a couchlock type of high you will get, and you should harvest according to the type of high that you are after.. i would just be sure to flush for atleast a week with nothing but plain water to flush out any left over nutes and to get a cleaner burning and tasting end product..
