Default Curing in Glass Jars

Why do you have to use glass jars, if I have too much for the jars I have would it hurt to use a ziploc for some???

if you have too much for jars then get more jars. nothing works as well. jars are cheap.

they arent air tight. how about the difference between a beer in a glass or a plastic cup? yes, plastic will effect the flavor.
