Default how do I get moisture back in my buds?
my buds dried too fast on me and they are over dry. I have them all in jars now but they are pretty crunchy. I heard something about these things called moisture eggs? has anyone ever heard of such things? do you just add them to your jars and it moistens up the bud a bit or what?

I'm not sure I'd do the orange peel thing. I used to do that with buds but after a while i noticed that it always made the bud less potent. I think the acidity of the peel kills the THC but I have no data to back it up lol. Just a thought. The only solution I've found is to leave them in the bathroom with a steaming shower for like 30-40 min.

If a lover of fine cigars has some dry out they will take a new clean sponge and soak it and then squeeze out as much liquid as possible and then place the moist sponge in a Zip-Loc bag or jar with the dry cigar(s) and the cigar(s) will draw in moisture without any alteration of the original flavor or odor and like next to no chance for mold since it is not an organic substance breaking down while adding moisture.

I would tend to believe the same would work for dry herb.

thanks guys I've been thinking about some damp paper towel pieces in a Tupperware container. but the sponge idea might be what I go with. one of my bigger plants took a few days to trim so what happen was I took it all off the stringers and some of it was wwaaay to dry upon going into the jars. the rest is pretty good so mixed up the dry with the more moist buds but over all it still wasnt enough, I still have a 2 half gallon jars (about 6 z's) that are pretty crispy. thats what I'm gonna do I think is cube up a sponge and mix in the moist sponge pieces with everything in the container. Thanks guys!

That works, you can also put a damp paper towel in there and it does basically the same thing.

use a lime and dont cut it.. roll it around on a hard surface to loosen up the lime, then put it in a glass jar and burp it for a few days, the bud will take the moisture from the outside of the lime.
