jsut got 2 babies down today and i got all the leaves closest to the bud and there hanging on a line now. Was it alright to cut the leaves close to the buds before they were dry? please give some advice. But yes they plants smelled amazing. over

thats the best way to trim to tell you the truth,while the buds are fresh,trim em,i personally used tweezers to pull them off by the stem at the base,that way you save the integrity of the bud,and set the leaves aside in an open shoebox that way when THEY dry you could make hash,oil,etc while you wait for your buds to dry and cure

Trim away.
Just got done trimming a plant myself.
I didn't do a real clean trim, and it still
took me damn near 3 hours.
I may do a bit more trimming as she dries.It is easier to get at the leaf stems when still wet though.

Nice haul 1/2 lb. That wet weight?
Assuming so but let me know.
I hung 270g from the one i trimmed.
Hoping for 3 zips when dried and ready to cure.

hey thanks ya im excited. i have them hanging in my barn and its like 55 degress in a few days im gonna move them to my basement. but they look really good for my first grow.

should i let them hang for a week then thro them in a jar for a month or 2 ??? i have heard many diffrent ways ?

ya that was wet weight after i cut all the leaves i fricken busted my ass i did it all in like a hour i had such a short window. i got 3 more plants 2 harvest this weekend that are more busy and higher yeild. so im atleast expecting another pound or pound and a half wet weight. My buddy who grows was blown away when he saw them . so i was proud of myself



How are you drying and curing yours? any tips or process you could share?

I hang my buds in a closet on coat hangers.
Temps 70-74 40% humidity
Fan blowing air around the room
Buds hang behind the fan so air doesn't
hit em directly.
I'll dry most bigger buds for 5 days, then
trim off into smaller buds, and put em into mason jars.
The smaller buds i'll dry for 3 days then into jars.
I tend to jar before the buds are really dry. I never go by stems, just by the outside of the bud. Once thats dry i just
cut the buds off the stems, pop em into jars, and keep the lids on loose until they dry a bit more. Then i keep a tight lid on and open 1 or 2 times a day.
