Does the DIY $40 bud dryer work well or just ok. i made even if some people say its not the greatest. figure id try it anyways. anyone made one of these before ?

I made one I spent Nadja on it.
Works great. Took apart an old computer for the fans.
I ran string through a box and directed the fan for exhaust only.
I dried 3 cuties through it
4-5 days and your in good shape to put in jars if you want.

I think its worth drying through it. Smoke is always good. Not harsh.

right on. all right maybe ill just string instead of the racks. i got my 3/4" holes drilled allready. i dont think it would make much of a difference do you ?

It's not something really fancy but it does the trick.
Im serious when I mean 3 day dryer.

In 3 days i can pull a bud out and smoke a bowl and have white ashes.

So basically it's obviously a cardboard box with strings running in them.

but I have 2 holes/ One for intake and the other for exhaust.

The key to not having really harsh tasting buds is that you want air coming across the buds gently. Not forcing air on them.

So I have a 12v pc fan wired with a 12v cellphone charger.

That fan Is for exhaust. Im pulling the air through the hole on the other side.

I also made the fan to fit in that small canister because I can attach a carbon filter to eliminate smell, using one of those face mask filters you use for painting and such.

So thats about it. After the 3 day dry they get their final manicure and go straight to the jars. Good luck everyone and hope this helps.
