trim whatever off you can. dump out all the weed and let it dry.

ya its powdery mildew you have..i get it from leaving buds on the stalk to long in the drying process...trim off anything with mold an use it to make hash with..as for the rest if you aint got a fan blowing to help the air circulate get one now..peace

what would you say is the best method for drying the trim leaves?

^^ thats opening a big can of ganja. Its personal prefference more or less. But the one thing that holds true with all drying, and curing longer periods are better, and will better the taste/smoke. If you have mildew you can use a spray bottle with filtered water, and 3% H2O2, let it sit for 15minutes or so, then a spray bottle with just water mist the sections of bud that have H2O2 on them, then dry the buds well. You can use a clean towel to soak the excess water from the specific buds. Or just trim the effected area's, and cook the trimmings into hash oil. The heat will kill anything still alive.
