so I know that this pops up all the time but I just want to hear it again. My weed smelled like skunk, dried it for 5 days then smelled like alfalpha. been curing for a week now in mason jars and it is still grass like. how long untill the smell comes back or did I dry it too much. I waited till the branches snapped then jarred. is brown bagging or sweating necessary to keep the smell when it is in the drying process? what to do when this happens? should I try to remoisten? Just questions please don't get all mad. thanks.

did you flush and check trichomes before you harvested

yeah so she was a grapefruit diesel outdoors. she flowered early started in early to mid july then we had some tough rains in the begining of sept and she started to get a little bud rot. I only flushed for one week, three times in that week. the trichs at the top leaves were alittle more than half amber. but I only checked the top leaves.

alright so I did some internet searches aswell and a few people suggested adding some leaves from another plant, fresh , to the jars to moisten them up and bring the smell back. anyone ever try this
