well i just harvested my first grow.1 of 2 plants that i have.the other one wont be done for about another week or so..but i was just wondering how all of you cured your buds and whats your preference is?..i just threw mine into some mason jars alittle bit ago..i've heard alot of different ways on how to do it and just wanted to know what you guys seem to like best

I trim them on the stem. Hang them for 3-5 days in a dark place with air movement. Put them in large paper bags (no more than half full). Move them around in the bag three times a day until the paper bag doesn't feel moist. Then put them in the jars and burp them a couple times a day and move the buds around a bit. If i get moisture on the glass, they go back into the paper bags. Once they can stay in the jar with no excessive moisture build up, the jars go into storage and I hold off for as long as I can before dipping into the 'cookie' jar. The longer you can wait.. the better they taste and look. I had some blueberry that turned purple and orange after being in there for a month.... mmmmmmmmmmm.... gooooooooood....

thanks for the quick response spaz..i had mine hanging since friday and they seemed plenty dry enough to be going into jars, though i did have to harvest about 2 weeks early cause my plant was outside and i found boot marks that weren't mine leading up to her.when you burp the jars how long do you leave the lids off for? say half or so?

yah, half hour would be ok. I usually let it open for 15min. You'll do it a couple times and get a feel for how long YOU need to leave it for your situation. Just like the plants... you do it.. thenyou get a feel for it... then you alter to suit yourself. As long as you are taking your time you can't go wrong. Pull of a bong rip and reward yourself though... it makes the wait a little easier!

haha yeah man its really tempting just looking at it all and wondering what the high will be like..it does have a grassy kind of smell to it but its not as bad though from like when i trimmed all the buds up.even though i did harvest just a little early and with the proper curing will i still get that nice musty smell of weed?

hang for about 4-6 days with air movement NOT DIRECTLY on the hanging plants because that can dry them too quick and make em taste nasty. then i trim them, put the bud i trimmed in a brown paper bag for 2 days, then jar it with the lid open for 1 full day.

holy shit.that has got to be 1 of the best pictures i have ever seen as far as just a 1 person grow.how many plants did you have and what was total yield you got as well..+rep man
