Default tops dying ODD!!!

I have had the tops of two plants now dry out to smokeable. It has been actually 3 tops of two plants. The plants are not the closest ones to the lights so I am not sure why this is happening. Any thoughts? They are white and still sticky but dry enough to smoke. Could the resin be dense enough to magnify the light?

They are under 1000W hps about 1.5 or 2 feet away. Room temps are 75 to 80 plants are a few weeks from mature.

i think your light is/may be too close. 1000w hps should be further away if im not mistaken

There are tops that are much closer than the ones that are dried like as close as a foot without problems

thats quite interesting, i find some of my tops drying a bit sometimes too,
and theyre not close to the light at all, but then again the humidity is low which is why im now using my humidifier and spray them at lights off

your not scared of bud rot/mold? your a braver man than i. i would never mist my plants during flowering

I also mist my plants during flowering but I have a dehumidifier set to 40%
