harvest help

I'm getting ready for my first ever harvest,
from my best guess she is about, just starting week 7, but I'm really not sure
and its bagseed so i don't know genetics, in soil,,
hairs are just about 50% orange, tricomes are exploding even on upper fan leafs, they seem like there just about all milky now, but I can find a few amber or clear if I look hard enough.
big fan leafs are all yellow and falling off
to me this plant seems ready
should I wait for more amber ????
also,, should I give her 48 hrs dark before chop ????
and is it better to harvest a plant all at once, or take all the tops and let some of the little sucker buds on the bottum, have a little more time ???

WEll clear trichomes will give you a rushy energetic buzz and amer trichomes will give you a ``couch lock`` kinda buzz. id wait til there about 70% orange and.. yes leave your little sucker budds to maturre a little hehe

I just take it all down at once... If I feel it's not smoke worthy, then it goes with the rest of the trim to be made into hash at a later date.

well,,, after future review
I felt she was ready,, so I chopped her down
I decided that I wanted to preserve her genetics,
she's such a beauty, and very fast, the 2 others (bag seed) at lest 2~3 weeks behind
so I left those small under developed flowers,
cut away half the root ball and re potted and 18/6
now I got some learning to do about cloning ;-b

Remember the reveg c an take anywhere from a week to a few months. Don't take clones to soon or they'll just die.

In the beginning of your reveg, you should notice how new leaves are 2-3 bladed. Once they come back to being 5 bladed, she should be ready to clone.

damn,,, that was fast !
I just saw the first signs of new growth already,,,
I luv this girl
hopefully I can keep this strain alive
but I have not had much luck with my cloning experiments so far ;(
but I have yet to get some rooting hormone gel,,
hopefully that will make a big difference ?????

Why yes it will. I personally use Root-Tech. Pretty good stuff. It's basically the best gel for a quick cut, dip, and sticking into soil. Some rooting hormones work best when used via water cloning, some rockwool, root-tech = soil.

I used Clonex Powder #1 fer awhile, sucked. Had horrible clone rates. When I moved to the root-tech gel, things were lookin up.

The thing is, I had Clonex #1. I believe it goes to #10. The number signifies how much actual rooting hormone there is, the more the better. And gel is always better than powder.
