I heard it's possible to dry bud in the microwave. I put a bud the size of my finger in there 2 days after hanging them, just to test potency.

I set the microwave at 15 secs and half power, 3-5 seconds after, the light in my microwave felt like it was going to explode just like a street lamp about to die out and i heard like an electric spark coming from the bud.

I managed to dry it eventualy using 2 sec intervals and it smelt really bad when i took it out.

This plant didn't get flushed, has this happened to anyone else?

Don't do that.You spent alot of time growing...wait a little longer for it to dry naturally.

i've never done microwave, just the usual oven in a pinch
but from what you describe, what you experienced sounds right
if you want to steam a vegetable, put it in the microwave, which is what i think happened

never use a microwave to dry, just be patient. u waited 3 months and u cant wait one more week? the microwave will ruin your buds.

Maybe try water cure? I've never done it myself.... then again I never harvest without flushing
