Hey everyone,

So I just harvested my plants and I think I may have over dried them a bit, I was wondering if there is anything you can do during the curing process to bring some moisture back into them.

Also I heard that you can put a piece of orange or lemon peel in with the curing jars and the bud develops some of the taste and smell from the peel. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard this or had any experience with it.

adding some sort of peel i.e orange ect brings back some moisture, and adds to the flavour a slight hint

Once in awhile some of my bud will get overly dry during the curing process and what I do is put it back in the mason jars and place them close together and place a slightly damp cloth across the open jars. After a while I feel the cloth, if it feels dry then I take a spray bottle and mist the cloth very slightly and let the dry bud begin to absorb the humidity from the clotha little bit longer. Then I close up the jars and cure as normal. If they still feel dry the next day I repeat the process. You don't want to rehydrate to quickly or you will invite the possibility mold.

Just take a couple fresh leaves or stems from the rest of the plant and put them in the jar with the over-dried bud. The fresh plant material will have enough moisture in it to help rehydrate your buds a bit.

I think ^that is the best way, never got mold from it. i've seen people get mold from fruit peels

IMO blowing hot breathe into the jar for awhile while create a foggy moisture in your jar, do this until your buds feel a moist, then cap it back up. you can do this as desired without worries of mold.

dont use orange peels or anything they use that for really bad smoke

after all ur hard work growin it u dont wanna fuck it up with mold...

just smoke it dry...what can u do?...if u wanna do something mist lightly with room temp. water and let set cure. cold water will make u loose Tic. and if anyone can tell me what warm water does that be grate?
