Just lightly mist it with water and keep it sealed for a day or two. It will absorb and distribute the moisture.

Ewww, halitosis buds! This invokes some pretty horrid mental images for me, but I'm a bit of a germaphobe. Makes me wonder, though, if you rinsed really good with Listerine first would you get minty-flavored buds?

I'd go with the fresh leaves idea. I think putting any kind of fruit or vegetable in with your smoke is kinda gross.

I am gonna suggest something that may be perfect but not tried. Smoking cigars you can buy what some call throw away packs for keeping humidity. You can buy them in different sizes and humidities at cigar stores. They come in humidity ranges I know of 65% and 70%. Great for small cigar travel cases or some cigar companies throw them in a mail order to keep cigars perfect in mail delivery. This could be perfect for maybe keeping humidity? Mold is a potential for humidity above 70% in cigars so should be the same for weed.

Packs range in price from a couple bucks apiece up. They don't say it but rehumitifying these when they dry is easy soaking in distilled water and let dry....gl...

any overdried bud that I have it generally easily managed by placing a fresh small popcorn bud in the jar - but that does require having the growing plants onboard to provide the fresh sample. I like the cigar thing .... that might work well, there certainly are lots of people that spend ridiculous amounts of money on expensive cigars and related paraphenalia. Walk On!!~~

LISTEN TO ME - Orange peels, lemon peels, bread, tortillas, are all going to make your weed smell like shit in the end. My advice to you, if you have a pound of super dry weed is this: go buy a pack of sponges. Get two sponges and squeeze all their soapy juice out of until it is just water in the sponge. Cut each sponge into 8 sections so you will have 16 cube sponge pieces. Get each sponge cube slightly moist with water, and insert them evenly into your pound of weed. Take them out after about 12 hours. Anything left in longer than 18-24 hours is going to mess your smoke up big time. I did this about 2 weeks ago and I gained nearly 50 grams off of one... and no one had any idea

Orange peels, lemon peels, bread, tortillas are cheap old school tricks that rookies use. This can also be easily detected. I have found sponges to be a better alternative because they put nothing but water back into the bud. Also, if you can using leaves or stems from your plants my be a good idea as well. But this is my street knowledge for you.

Relaxed: Those are called Humidipacks, and they work great. There is nothing better on the market, or in your grow set up to better rehydrate and keep your product at the right consitency. My two cents.
