Mine is too. I'm at the last day of week 4, just plopped my little bud into a cup of water. doing it ghetto style.

Should work fine.I can't wait to harvest the 2 plants I started flowering first so I can get started on a big-boy water cure .Is the bud you are going to use fairly developed ? I was surprised at how my 5wk+ old bud came out looking halfway descent in the end.Even more surprised at how high I got from 3 hits of the stuff. Can't wait to see your results!

Mine is pretty small. it's half of the lowest bud. I clipped off the tip top of the bottom branch. It's pretty resinous, and looks real good.

Im trying....not sure if it gets to the intended target though.

when my plany buds imma water cure half and air cure half so i ccan smoke some quickly and than have my other patch cured by the time i get done with that

Ya I have figured that out. I have received rep from about 15 people since
my last increase and I am still at 129 rep......seriously broken.


Also, I understand that water curing isn't for everyone.But if you haven't tried it , even with a small amount of green, then I would say try it first- then knock it if you want.

This is my one and only plant and my first grow . With all this water , and air curing threads im afraid once i go to harvest im gonna fuck up somehow lol. How long b4 i harvest should i do this flushing i read about ? Also if u dont flush or cure it after it dries whgat should ya expect ? Thx for info

Most common method is Air Dry and if you are on your first grow this is probably the best method to use, pretty easy and there are a lot of threads on how to do it. I say this more from a point of view that this is your first grow you are excited and you have certain expectations based on buds you have smoked in the past and you want to be close or better, you will be expecting a good smelling and tasting bud so you can compare to what you have had in the past and since water cure will soften these aspects it could make it a bit harder for you to judge like this, it's all more phycological, I hope I am making sense...


Flushing with plain PH'd water (some people like to continue to use Molasses during this period) is usually started in the last two weeks (7-10 days before harvest) of the grow to reduce the nutrients the plant is uploading so when smoked they are not affecting the plants natural flavors.

Not everyone flushes at the end, but when not flushed, typically you will have a more harsh smoke and sometimes you can taste the nutrients. If you air dry and did not flush and then don't cure, then in addition to tasting the newt's you more than likely will taste the chlorophyl and have a 'grassy/hay' taste and it's just not as pleasant as when done right...
