Exclamation Had to harvest one lil bud...what should i do with it?

Been flowering for like 5 weeks now or so...a branch broke, one of the lower bud clusters broke off basically too (severe enough to where it obviously can't continue to grow on the plant). so i basically have a premature bud that is just sitting there.

I want to smoke it if possible and some time kinda soon. This means i really don't care that much about the taste of the pot. I just wanna get high off my first grow, u kno?

what is the best thing for me to do with this lil nug?

quick dry it. put it on top of your ballast. it will taste harsh though.

man, i'm sorry to say this, but i'm not using a ballast. i'm straight into the plug with a power strip and a shit load of CFL's. i'm probably going to burn the fucking house down.

by saying, "quick dry it," do you mean that the temperature should be higher? i'll try to look up some stuff on quick drying tho in FAQ. do i not need to keep it in the dark?

any other suggestions?

Do you have a food dehydrator in the house? They are cheap and they work pretty well.

hey guys i went to the store and picked up some DampRid. I put it in a plastic bag (it's supposed to get gooey) and dropped that down into a jar. suspended above the powdery contessant is my bud in a paper towel.

what do you think?

how long should this take?
