Hey you all -

My friend was wondering if her six Mazar plants are ready to harvest. They are currently on day 54 flowering. On one plant, most of the hairs (85%) on the cola are red, the others have less. She doesn't have a microscope so can't check the trichomes. She started flushing three days ago. I am assuming they need at least another week... what do you guys think?

let them go to 60-65 days then chop. looks a little early

flush 4 an other week and your friend would be a friend in deed. that looks ready

also, the bottom buds are much less developed than the majority of the top ones... is this okay? I know that if I chop the top, the plant will be too stressed and won't live, but I don't feel like those ones on the bottom will do much for me... is this usual? I feel bad wasting those little undeveloped friends... it's my first grow so I am not sure exactly what I am doing...

The bottom will always be less developed because of light less light less developed. If you wanted to chop lots of the top and leave the bottom the plant will not just die. Most people will just take the popcorn buds and make hash or bake with it so its up to you but yes this is normal.

If you want the bottom to be equally as developed as the top you can always SCROG!!!

In the first pic are the biggest fan leaves I've ever seen!! (look towards the left) I'm finally growing some sativa, i wonder if they'll get that big

Why does everyone contradict themselves? First they are your "friends" plants, then in a later post you say it's "your" first grow?
