so my 2nd plant is getting close, its on 2 weeks of flushing, and 11 weeks since signs of sex. (prob 13 weeks in actuall 12/12)
the trichs are pretty much all cloudy and 30% amber. some parts of the plant have alot less amber tho.
so im thinking one more week. im going to be out of town next weekend, so ild just assume wait so i can be around to monitor each day of the drying.

i think my first plant dried too quick or something, but it didnt turn out all that great. i recently got a dehumidifier, and i can get the temps in my drying area around 85*f, and around 35-42% humidity. not sure i can do much about getting the temps down unless i try a different room or closet. the dehumidifier puts off some heat, so the trade off is about 7*f but much lower humidity.
its been hot as shit and humid down here, the other week we had 100+ temps with the indexs reaching 110. its cooled off a little, low 90's but still... the last dry, i had high temps and horribly humidity, i think it got up to 75% in the heat of the day, and not dropping much at night either. so my bud doesnt tase all that great nor does it smell that stellar. granted it was some bag seed, and could have just been some seeds for this one bag of middies that i got (shouldnt have mixed those seeds with my stash, but owell) but it really had a nice smell on the plant.

anyway, thats done with, im just trying to correct a few things this time. i think temps and humdity were my biggest issue. i think ive got a good grasp on the curing process i hung for a few days, bagged for a few, and went to jars. smaller buds spent shorter times in each process, larger ones longer. so any input would be greatly appreciated.

and this plant smells awesome, so i know its different from the last, it has a piney smell to it???? anyway, i think this should be some good shit. LoL so it must turn out good. andy thoughts on what it could be?? probably impossible to figure out with pics alone huh?

dont know what it is... it reminds me of one particular bag i got last year but no clue whats it was... been collecting for too long, had some good seeds in there tho, just wish i woulda seperated the seeds a little more selectively over time... just threw em in the same bag... just hope it turns out better than the last.

i love the bud structure, nice peaks poking out of the top

i have 4 tube lights above the setup, 2 of them are 40w wide spectrum and 2 are plant lights...
then on each side i have two of those 42w cfl bulbs, think they said equal to 150w bulbs. so i have 4 of those in place by the time the plant reaches full height.
i start off with just the tubes above the plants, and i add the cfls as i raise the tubes up, so the plant is getting plenty of light from all sides.... i have one more container right next to the one in the pic. so it sits pretty well under the width of the tube light. i just did one plant in each this first time around.... thinking about filling both containers with nothing but hydroton and doing a SOG set-up... or maybe just trying to grow 4 decent plants... its for personnel use only, me and my roomie are the only ones im worried about. and hooking up the one person whos hooked me up over the years.

trying to decide if i want to try to setup a veg room, for a mother and or clones... but i figure one harvest could last me till the next... and to me the added work of a mother and cloning may not be worth it... i dunno, i got lots of seeds, and i did just buy some feminized seeds online... so those are going to be my next venture....

thanks, i was pleased too... i topped it right before i sent it into flowering, and just hoped and preyed it would turn out female... that it did!!!

i just let the first one go naturally (with some minor pruning) and it got kinda tall/wide and jangly but it had a HUGE cola.... this one stayed tight and close, just what i need for my setup, i figure if i can get 4 plants to grow just like this one, ild turn a pretty good yield for sure.

one more question. should i expect any plant i top like this one. to only produce two major colas?? with no side branching??? i just bought some 'snow white' and 'jack horror' from nirvana, and was wondering if i could expect the same growing form if i top them? my setup could do 4 of these very well (at least i think) as far as space etc. or if i try to grow a more bushy plant, i could prob only do two??

anyway just trying to stimulate some advice.
