I've read in many posts about flushing? Not totally sure if i understand how or why to do this. Is it so it the buds will smoke better-less harsh? It sounds like its done the last few weeks of flowering to get nutrient build up out of the roots. Can someone please explain how-when to do so or why?

flushing is allowing approximatly 3X the size of the pot size into it to flush the ferts and nutes...so if ur growing in 1 gallon pots then u flush with 3 gallons of ph balanced water... it is done 2 weeks before harvest in an attempt to make the plant use its stored ferts up and have a less "harsh" or chemical taste...i hope this helps a little

at the point of the flush?

do you only flush one day and then just let the plant dry up for the week to cut??

why do some people use molasses?

molasses has been said to increase yield by as much as 20%, but you should use it throughout the flowering process, not just during the last 2 weeks

Gotcha. Some say it kills too? Are there certain strains to use this advanced watering technique with?

might just try it.. you mix it with nutes too? or only when straight h20?
