I live in an area with relative humidity in the low 70's. I am currently in the 4th week of flowering and am thinking ahead towards the curing process. I've read that 50-60% is ideal for drying and anything higher will invite mold.
Will a fan solve this problem, or will that cause harsher smoking bud? I know there are dehumidifiers, but I'd rather not invest any more money into my project. Thanks for any input. |

Dish out the money for the dehumidifier man. That RH is way too high flowering and you risking mold or bud rot. Getting the dehumidifier would be cheaper than upgrading your ventilation system. This is the cheapest one that I could find: http://www.target.com/Amcor-Mini-Deh...idifier&page=1
If you look a little harder you might be able to find a better one

Thanks, for the input. I guess I might not have a choice in the matter. I'll look around. |
