when i see more than 70% brown hair(pistil) they are ready for harvest. right??
ohh.. dont tell me to get magnifier shit and check the trochomes cuz im bum dont even have $15 to get it
is there another way to check their ripeness? any peculiar signs?

i already read it but the pics just aint clear enough
i googled to find some very accurate and detail picture but i couldnt; also the articles were all about trichome shit
so i decided to write a new thread
i always do research before write something im not that stupid
once again... am i right?? plz someone tell me some other signs of harvest thxx

just an addition, the harvest tutorial page which cph linked and also taking the first article of the harvesting and curing forum,
FDD said "when buds are done they look "done". the appearance of the bud changes"
how the fuck i know my buds are done if ive never done it before?
so im just making sure.. not to fuck myself

Yes that is correct. With out a scope your waiting for pistils to turn color 70-80% with just the tops shriveled.
If they are shriveld back all the way it means you are going past peak and loseing potency.

i think my girls need some more time to get the top shriveled although they got lots of pretty brown hair
hmm.. honestly, how many cannabis growers got a scope to check the plant ripeness??
am i the only newbie grower who doesnt have a scope and needs some visible specific signs for harvest?

I have done my first 10-20 harvest with out a scope. I always waited for the pistils to turn amber and then I would give them a few more days , just when the tops started to shrivel I would cut them down. This way I waited as long as I dared.

I also have too much money rapt up in this, which ended up with one female, to buy one of those expensive magnifiers.

No, your not the only 1 without a scope. I'm on my first grow and cut my first 1 yesterday. I waited untill I noticed the bud go from the light green to a dark. IMO even though it's your first time it's pretty obvious when the change happens. Good luck on your harvest!
