DAY 32 hairs/pistols already brown??

Ok So im on day 32 of flowering on my patinum bubba kush clone. (dont know if im counting right, 32 since i switched to 12/12) Everything is looking pretty good, but I have a lot of the hairs or pistols turning a brownish orange already.. Is this normal for it to happen this early?

Btw, anyone know generally about how long platinum bubba kush takes from flowering to harvest time?? Im guessing about 8 weeks/2 months...

don't know about how many weeks that strain needs, but don't go by the red hairs, get a 40-100x microscope and check the trichromes.

hmm I heard about that for checking harvest time... How much do they cost??

bigDawg, you can even buy a cheap magnifying glass and use a digicam on macro to take a close-up/magnified pic of the trichs. Use your computer to zoom in the picture and you will be able to see them clearly.

Nice R6 brotha I have the same exact one. That engine at wide open throttle.... nothing like it. Ride safe

judging by the pics in ur link i would say another 2 weeks maybe a bit more until harvest. that would put you at around 7 weeks.....on second thought i would wait to 8 or 9 weeks. in my experience, i would rather guess way long (little more of a body buzz) than 2 weeks short (a lot less of any kind of buzz, sorta "weed lite". but that may just be me.

Damn, I sure as hell hope they arent done in two weeks, i will be dissapointed on what I would yield thats for sure. Im guessing about 4 more. Im definately not looking for that "stoned" couch lock high. I dont enjoy that and hate being lazy. Thats my main thing, just dont wanna have a high and be lazy, eat, and fall asleep..

Is there a possibility of a herm in the batch? The pics you posted look like they are about 1/2 done at best. Everything looks healthy and the next thing I would look for is a male flower that is open anywhere on any of the buds. If the bud gets pollinated , the hairs tend to die off and it concentrates on seed production.
I'd have a look real closely... they can appear almost overnight.
