Hi ppl of rollitup! My plant is almost ready for harvest and was wondering what is the best way to make hash from the surrounding leaves which have crystals on em. Ive hurd of the ice blending methos and did that but never really got amazing results... was it cuz i was using shit weed?

Also would using a stocking to rub all the trichs through work?

Do the leaves have to be dried out or still fresh?

I like a Kief Box, plain and simple. I use a Wicca Box.

This is a WICCA Kief box, the very best one on the market. There is one slightly larger and one slightly smaller, and you'll need one to make HIGH GRADE blonde Lebonese or Blonde Afganey Hash. You can buy them at a "head shop" or "smoke shop" or "herbal accessories" store or order them off the internet. Do NOT get a GRINDER Box or Spaceship Box. They make low green or brown lower grade hash.

Left over fan leaves make OIL. The left over trim leaves are for making HASH.
Those CRYSTALS, (slang term) on the leaves are called trichomes, while they are still on the leaves. In Europe, they call them resin glands. AFTER you remove them, they are called KIEF.
After you bake them, into a lump or chunk or cake, they are called HASH. That is where the HEADY HIGH THC is.

Most people make HASH a difficult way, called Bubble Hash with ICE and Ice water. If you google HASH, youtube, you can watch 300 videos on how to make hash. The most difficult way is BUBBLE hash with ice water.
I use a strainer, or filter or screen, that is in my kief box, to remove them.
MUCH EASIER FOR ME!. Get a kief box and I'll help you. It is easy the way I do it!

I saw a dude on here stretch panty hose over the end of a Pringle Potato Chip tube and shake them out.

It is better and easier to use FROZEN trim leaves.

I just recently got my bubblebags and just got finished making about 8 - 9 grams of bubble hash,, I am totally loving these bags but I also really like the screen method when I have lots of good leaves,, but here are some pix of my bags and finished product,, damm good hash.....

May I ask how much trim or mash you used?

Somewhere between 4 and 5 ounces of leaves that as soon as I trimmed my plants I put them right into a plastic bag and put right into the freezer..........

apasunee, I've heard that putting plant material directly into the freezer can damage trichomes because of the water still inside the plant becoming crystaline form.....just lettin' ya know. Glad to see your shit came out good, though!

I have some pics in the puter at home, but not here at the office.

I get about a pound of dried leaves (trim leaves and leaves with trichs on them) and spend sundays on the sofa running them thru the box.
