i have a white russian on day 45 flower in soil under a 250w hps. i have to cut no longer than day 63. about 20% of the hairs have turned orange but more on lower buds.
i would like to cut as early as possible but no later than day 63.
I have a few questions,
1. when should i start to flush, im thinkin day 54ish?
2. was thinking about going 10/14 soon and maybe even down to 8/16 for last few days to speed up maturity? anybody any experience with this?
3. I have heard about 36 hours darkness, why do you do this and does anyone think it will help me?

For best results harvest when ready not because u wanna smoke bro!

i would stick to 12/12, maybe 10/14. Flush should be at LEAST a week prior to harvest. Make sure you flush good or you'll taste the nutes. Again, best advice is to just wait it out if possible.

I am moving house in 4 wks and i thought 9 weeks flower would be enough so now im crapping it and willing to try anything to have it as ready as possible by then. what is the deal with the 24hour darkness then? does anyone know WHY this is done? lowering the light hours was my own brainstorm and wanted to know from any experienced growers if they think this is a good idea
