Like my title says, would a prolonged period of darkness help my buds out at all?

The plant which is bagseed, will be at day 59 on Sunday, I have been checking the trichs but It seems to still be clear.
I am not happy about that by the way, So basically will giving the plant full 12/12 for the remainder of its days be better, or 2-3 days of darkness?

But since I dont have 14 days, I have 4 before I leave for a long time, do you suggest keeping it on a 12/12 schedule for the remaining days?
