Ok so I have 3 plants harvested and drying in a closet with humidifier and heat controlled. Temp is 71 and Humidity is 50%, all the buds are hanging from clotheslines. I trimmed the fan leaves and inner leaves off the plants and they are all hanging by them big stems. So far it has been 48 hours and the nugs are starting to lok thinner and the outsides are becoming crispy already. Isn't that too soon? I thought it should take 2 weeks? What should I do, keep them hanging? Cut them down and jar them and cure? Please help I don't want to mess this up I have like over 6 ounces of Strawberry Cough...

I would say your ready to cure. when you grab a bud and try to split it it should bend slightly then start to crack, rip, and tear if the bud bends like soft rubber its not done. it should not be to spongy but more dense.

This quickly?

Mine are usually ready in 3-4 days - I use a drying box with a small fan to pull moisture out of the buds. The fan does not blow at the buds. It is easy to over dry them so you have to keep an eye on them. Small buds will dry quicker than the larger ones.

Whoa whoa stop right there. They are not ready to cure yet. Its normal to see them reduce in size and weight. You will know when they are ready when you take one of the bigger buds and bend the stem IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUD. If it begins to snap, then they are ready. Don't do it too soon!!

Can ya burn a j w/out it goin out right away? Does it stay lit fer most of it? Then yer prob'ly good

I live in a climate with less than 10% humidity my buds dry in 24 hours and cure for about3-4 days.
