Hey guys, my plant is about a week or two away from harvest time but since it is 420, i cant help but take a snip of a small nug and try it out! only problem is im not sure how to dry it in an hour or so.

Does anyone know of a way i can dry a nug right from being cut to smoke?

I wish I knew I pulled some off my Power Skunk like 4 days ago and I was able to smoke today. Good thread Ill be tuned in to find out also.

so does anyone whos done it before have any good methods? i read up on microwaving and using the toaster oven but not totally sure about it

defrost on and off 5 sec intervals for bout 3--40 secs... and wiping excess moisture each time. Tastes like crap but smokable..

it aint gonna happen bro. and if you do get it dried enough to smoke it today, its gonna taste like a leaf that fell in dog shit out in your yard....sorry, there prob is a way i just dont know of one where it would be worth it....you cant go buy a 20 or sumthin?

if you leave it on top of a hps lamp for an hour or sioo youll be able to smoke but again it will taste like a shitaco

also the potency will suffer alot, at least in my experience. i tried it and was thinking of doing a nug today if it worked but both times i tried it (microwave 1rst one, 2nd tried both a toaster and putting it in the top drawer above my stealth dresser grow) and it sucked so i bit the bullet and decided to buy another 20 to get me through the curing phase so im not tempted so much anymore lol.

did the same thing. had to. i figure i smoke the bud in two days it should be ready. i still have some smoke. but it wont last till 4-30 when i havest

theres a few ways to dry it. microwave would be one, using a heater is another, anything that will draw heat and take out the moisture.

but, doing these method will effect the resin and potency of the bud. it will be smokeable but not good tasting.

true. thanks guys. after doing a little bit more research, im going to try the toaster oven method with it 5 minutes in, 10 out for about an hour or so

thats not the right way! u should put it on the lowest setting and have the door open and put the bud on top of the microwave oven for an hour or about that while flipping em every 20 min. they need to be wrapped up in paper towel to absorb the bud moisture too
