ok i have two questions about drying and trimming


1.When drying i have to do it inside correct.....i live in florida so its hot outside right now.....so i cant just hang it outside and cover them up so no sun gets to them? or can i?


2. How Bad is the smell gonna be and how can i cut down on them

3.Ive looked at all tutorials but dont understand when triming what do i trim like how much...just the fan leaves and leav what...i dont understand

You don't want them outside in Fl. unless there is a cooler dark spot you can place them. The sun will damage the trichs/resin glands and the high heat will dry it to fast.
Cut off all the big fan leaves, then after it drys, not dry like DRY but still some softness to it, snip off all the remaining leaves around the bud. The leaves will make bud taste harsh when burning.

1)unless theres a really cool spot outside, i would do it inside because the heat and sunlight will degrade the thc in your buds and you'll lose potency.

2)the smell depends on your strain. dont know what your growing but expect it to be pretty smelly. when you got to cut it down just cut all the branches off separately and make sure you only cut off what your gonna trim and dry. dont cut the whole plant down only to some laying around for a day or two.

3) to trim it just cut the big stems off and trim the fan leaves and regular leaves around the bud. take your scissors and its almost like your tracing your bud with the scissors. snip off anything that sticks outside each bud. save the stems and clippings also cuz you can make hash or butter out of them

unless your running a carbon filter where u be dryin u really cant.. i got off lucky dryin my last crop in winter the cold helped kill the smell outside my house.. good luck bro

if you have a carbon filter or ozone generator those work the best at eliminating the smell. otherwise some air freshners, febreeze or something like that will help out
