im goin away for two weeks i recently harvested my babies they have been in mason jars for a week now would they be ok to leave them for 2 weeks without opening the lids need answers goin in 2 daysras

yes just keep it open for at least a few hours before and after u come back, it would be much worse to keep em open. and i've accidently've done this to a few jars in the past and they've turned out fine (never have had a mold prob before) and just remember to stick ur nose in there when u come back cause she'll reek when u crack em.

I've been in the same situation as you... no problems in closed jars for two weeks, but give them lots of dry air before you cap em (leave the lids open for a few hours)
