Where to buy jars?

im not sure about online(shipping is going to be a major pain in the ass. glass jars are cheap but heavy) but you can go buy 12 packs at the grocery store or walmart. the walmart by me had atleast 10 of these 12 packs. if thats not enough for you then i dunno what to tell you.

Is there anything that I can use in lieu of a glass jar that works the same way?

anything that is airtight will work. glass is just recommended because it gives a very good seal and doesnt allow in as much air as say tupperware would. the glass jars are cheap. like a dollar a piece. you should just go pick them up.

If you're REALLY a good grower, you can get the large pickle jars at some outlet stores (1 gal ).
Get glass, as it does not absorb oders, and watch your humidity.
I am a regular customer at a cigar/ tobacco shop, and they have everything I need.

Yeah you can get as many as you want from walmart. People do canning so ive seen people getting tons of jars
