Me and a friend were goin through his garage and ontop of an old refridgerator we found like 3 grams of OLD dusty dity bud, it looks like it was once good stuff.. but now it is all dusty, when I say dusty I mean you blow on the bud and dust goes everywhere.

Is there anything I can do to return this bud to a condition that it is smokeable? I was thinking maybe a water cure type thing for a few days until there is no dirty water, will this work?

What about water curing it. Im not sure how it would work. Its in the harvesting & Curing section.

I did a 24 hour water cure, changing the water 3 times during that time. I decided it was done because after 3 hours the water hadn't changed any color. So I took it out of the water and put it on a piece of sketch paper (because it's thicker then plain paper) then I placed the small piece of paper with the buds ontop of my video card inside my pc and let it dry overnight. It got too dry, but it smells good. I was surprised it had such a strong smell to after being so dusty and old, not to mention water cure is supposed to take away alot of the scent. I'll admit these buds aren't very eye appealing after going though the water cure + drying. They are very dark, no green anywhere really.

Well, I decided to put the buds in a covered container with a damp piece of paper towel. Also I took two or three hits, it was pretty harsh . But I am high for 2-3 hits, though it is the first time I've smoked today.

Anyway. I am extremely pleased with the results of this water cure as I went from having odorless non-smokeable buds to having SMELLY smokeable ones. :joint:
