So i've decided i have to harvest today....got my dry box all ready....after reading and reading i'm confused a bit on the curing process.

when the bud are nice and dry from hanging.....do you recommend curing in brown paper bags then jars....or just jars?

any advice would be great!!

I think the faq says mason jars are better for curing.....but not to sure....thats what im using now and looks good.

hmmm......sounds good.....i've also been reading posts that people recommend paper bags for a week then jars......hopefully i'll figure it out before the time comes..

What i do is let them dry by hanging upside down for 2-3 days then put in brown bag until almost all dry (not all the way dry) then put in air tight jars or anything air tight. Open up a few times a day. The slower they dry the better they are. You end up with sweet smelling, smooth smoke over all way better buds. Just take your time its way worth it.

I would never put it in a paper bag unless I was in need of some quick cash.
I hang mine for up to two weeks at 55% humidity in a dark closet and then jar it up.

I hang mine for a few days until the outside edges start to get crispy...then its off to brown paper bags for a two days before going into mason jars. Once in the jars I burp them twice a day for the first week, once a day for the second week, then twice in the third week and the fourth week they stay sealed the entire time.
That is just a general guideline I go off of but I modify things according to the feel of my buds.

Proper curing makes all the difference in the world and it takes longer than two weeks.
