I know that there is no solid answer and it depends on the desired effects, but here's the info:

-growin' Bubblegum and NLX from clones (5 of each). Both supposed to complete flowering in about 55 days.
-Have been under 12/12 for 43 days but budding (according to what I can see) for 34 days.
-pistils dying nicely
-trichomes appear to be 70% clear, 25% cloudy and a few ambers here and there.

It seems like their a bit ahead of schedule. What do you think?

Also, how long does it typically take for trichomes to turn from clear to cloudy, and cloudy to amber?

LOL the first pic shows mostly the underside of the fan leaves so they look a bit paler than they really are.

I flushed the NLX about 10 days ago but fed them immediately. The NLX hve suddenly burst with bud growth that they're using up they're stored nutes rapidly (i think).

2 weeks would be awesome!

I've been using The CANNA Terra line from start to finish plus a few extras. Used a light soil-mix made of a variety of moss and perlite.

For veg:
Terra Vega

For Flowering:
Terra Flores
Boost Accelerator
PK 13/14

and other stuff like lemon concentrate to lower pH, as well as this powder called Alkabase (Canadian) which conaints salts of all your plant's favorite minerals.

When i switched to 12/12 i continued using the Veg nutes and lowered it gradually while slowly introducing the flowering nutes.

If anything, I had more deficiencies than toxicity/nute burn, but nothing too serious.


For my next grow though I'll be using the BioBizz line.

***UPDATE***

Well it's been over 2 weeks since i started this thread and my babies still aren't ready.

The buds have definitely filled up, but I still see new growth with white pistils.

They've now been flowering (budding, not just 12/12) for 53 days and I'm getting impatient. Still no amber trich's

and a Bubblegum bud that I harvested early and just blazed high was pretty heady, but I liked it.


I guess my question is, how fast do trich's turn from cloudy to amber? they're mostly cloudy now, but still no ambers.

was the sample of the bubble all the way dry if the stem doesnt snap its not dry i have found that my buds take a while to dry i live in the humid south 100% humidity almost year round everyday they get closer to being dry they get you higher i grow bubblicious by nirvana thats what my bud looks like a few days after i cut it it aways gives a heady high when not dry so let dry for a few more days then see what happens.the plants are beautiful the northern lights looks amazing never smoked it gonna get some seeds now thanks keep up the great work
