Do i top the very top?

alright guys i just cut a few branches off due to a accident involving some burning of the leaves due to lights sitting on the plant (CFL's). Now i am wondering do i cut the very top main stock where all the new shit is forming?? gut instinct says i leave that be till it grows more then cut what i need...

when its over 4 nodes - 5 nodes you can cut off the top 1 - 2 nodes of the main stem with all the new shit completly off , orr fim , see thatn new little ball of little new leaves on the tip top..... cut 80% of that mess of leaves dwn to almsot where it connects with the stem , if u didnt cut it far enough it will just grow normally with mis shapen leaves, if u do it to much itl only make 2 tops , if u do it jsut right u could have 4- 8 tops man

man i tied my plants over and am thinkin about toping them... did you ever top ur plants?

yeah i just topped one of mine. im thinkin of tyin some down to ive done it once and my yield was much higher than the rest of the plants ive grown

I hear that tieing them over and topping them will make you have several tops running all up and down the side of the plant that the light is shining on

tie em down, ive never topped em, but i tie the tops down about half way for a couple weeks, and definately get a better yield, usually have four or five cola type buds.
