Default How do i get my bud to look like this...... w/pics

Ok so the one on the left is my bud that i have grown and tried drying. the one on the right is bought.

i cant figure out how to get the bud on the left so packed together. Mine just stays fluffy.
There has to be another step in the drying/curing proccess that packs the bud together to make it more dense or am i just crazy lol
anyone have any ideas?

Ive not reached the drying & curing stage yet but by the looks of your bud you havnt trimmed off the leaves maybe thats the issue.

most commercial chron is outdoor which is much more dense due to the high intensity light of the sun.. you can never match the density of an outdoor plant indoors.. strain can be part of the issue as well.

yeah dude you need to learn some better trimming skills

cant even see your bud cause its covered in leaves

and if you want tighter buds add more light and co2

I find it easy to get bud looking like that. Try cutting the buds up a bit away from the stalk so that u have little nugs, remove all that leaf as well. Then when u put them into jars fill them three quarters full and tumble the buds each day. I find that the light weight of the buds pressing down on each other gradually compresses them givin you nice hard little nugs.

You have my intrest. First time grower here about ready to harvest. Maybe helpful if others post here how thier buds grown indoor look and how they dried them. Good Luck!

Thats what I do, put an OZ or there abouts in a ziplock bag
and roll it up as tight as I can (after curing) and the resin
keeps them compressed.

First of all you need the correct strain to produce that exact same type of bud.

2. You have purple.. how the hell is it gona look like that bud to the right... ?



Get the correct strain, and it will look like that. ohh * edit * take of those leafs.. prob looks 10x better
